We're thrilled to announce the launch of our full Battle Castle companion website!
The site has a whole new look and lots of fresh content, including an individual page for each Battle Castle episode that contains information about historical figures, castle facts, and a featured defensive structure. Over the next few weeks, we will also be rolling out featured siege weapons and awe-inspiring bird's eye view CGI models of all six castles.

Agentic teamed up with The Big Wild to make something really cool. Check out Drawn to the Wild for an interactive experience with Canadian singer/songwriter and activist, Sarah Harmer. You can choose a frame from the "I'm a Mountain" video and trace what you see as important. We did some magic on the backend so that all submitted designs could compile a new video.
The Big Wild will donate to the Niagra Escarpment for each completed frame, and we're happy to see that they're filling up quickly!

Springtide Resources has been working to end violence against women for over 33 years. We worked with them to revamp their website so that it meets their unique needs of high accessibility and a clear, intuitive ability for users to maintain privacy. The new resource-rich site seamlessly integrates with Springtide's other digital properties and offers online training on woman abuse issues, support resources and inclusive community events.

Agentic is proud to launch the digital side of CBC's new documentary series, 8th Fire - a provocative journey exploring Canada's relationship with Aboriginal Peoples and finding a way forward. The HTML5 website is rich with content that provides a deeper look into the characters and stories in the four-part-TV series and beyond. There are high-energy videos such as Aboriginal 101 and The Relationship in 3 Minutes. An interactive map explores Aboriginal peoples throughout history to present day and enables users to explore the stories of people such as Shannen Koostachin, a young Cree teenager from an isolated community in Northern Ontario called Attwapiskat. She led the largest youth-led children's rights campaign in Canadian history before her untimely death at the age of fifteen.

We recently worked with the School of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia (UBC) to reveal an accurate picture of human kinetics and student life. Kinesiology involves the study of physical activity and its impact on health, society and quality of life.

We revamped the School of Kinesiology's website to both reflect and function for the vibrant, diverse community fuelling the academic program. We were challenged from a design perspective to ensure we maintained the common look and feel of UBC's website, while emulating the unique characteristics of human kinetics.

Content is important in today's infowhelming digital world; but allowing users to find the right information is what's key. Yourlegalrights.on.ca is a new online source of legal information for people across Ontario, from our longtime client Community Legal Education Ontario. The multipurpose website hosts a multitude of free, practical and easy-to-find legal resources produced by hundreds of organizations across Ontario. It includes an interactive services map with key legal and social services and public legal education webinars.

Recently, we were proud to launch our Battle Castle Flash game online. The purpose of thegame is to engage fans of Battle Castle in an informative and fun, flash-based game. As a light strategy game with a focus on “edutainment, ” it educates by presenting the player with idealized versions of Battle Castle’s six featured fortifications and mimic the development of siege warfare over time. Viewers participate in an online experience much like the ones to be depicted in the upcoming programs.

Labels often create barriers, as is the case for people who have been labeled “developmentally disabled” or “mentally handicapped.” The BC Self-Advocacy Foundation (BCSAF) is working to change this, as well as other barriers such as separation from family and friends and poor access to jobs and education.

Social media and the web have swept PR into a rapidly-changing environment. Issues emerge and recede within hours. From this landscape, the Canadian Public Relations Society (Vancouver chapter of CPRS) decided to create a website to address these new industry issues.

TV is one of the ultimate storytelling vehicles, and documentaries are a key way to tell important stories. So we're very excited to launch battlecastle.tv, the first teaser site for a doc series on the world's greatest castles and their impact. It's a transmedia production we're working on with Parallax Film Productions.

In this first incarnation, you can watch the trailer, meet the host Dan Snow, see behind-the-scenes photos and videos and keep up to date with the film crew's progress and stories on the blog.
